Mellow Peaches to Support Willy Vlautin

We always try to pick support acts who compliment the headline performer at Colour. If it happens to be a local band that we love, all the better. Mellow Peaches supported Charlie Parr last February and their incredible take on bar-room blues was a revelation; slide guitar and banjo playing that was accomplished and infectious, capturing the primal spirit of the genre perfectly. It won’t be long into their set before you’re tapping your foot in time to their stompboard (a percussive plank of wood with bottlecaps nailed to it). We’re very pleased to have them back.
