Capsule Announce Supersonic ’09 Lineup

Festival announcements a-go-go in Brum at the moment! Capsule recently revealed the initial line-up for this year’s Supersonic Festival, which runs from 24-26 July and will feature a host of challenging, envelope pushing artists. I’m unfamiliar with many of them but Capsule can always be relied on to put something worthwhile together. I’m particularly looking forward to Caribou; their 2007 album Andorra was woozy psych-pop at its best.

It’s also good to see so many events embracing the joy of baked goods. Here’s the full lineup:
