Upcoming at Glee

Just a quick post about some amazing gigs coming soon at The Glee Club in Birmingham. Katie and myself visited it for the first time on Tuesday after Dan Whitehouse very kindly invited us to see him support The Storys.

Tuesday 29th May: James Yorkston
Monday 16th June: The Handsome Family
Sunday 29th June: Kathleen Edwards
Tuesday 8th July: Laura Veirs

Most exciting of all, band of the moment Fleet Foxes and Colour deity Stephen Malkmus and his Jicks are also set to play what is arguably Birmingham’s most inviting and intimate venue. Sometimes its nice to sit down and fully appreciate an artist, rather than being jostled around in a giant fart cloud (Birmingham Academy comes to mind).
