One of my most favorite things on the internet is the TED talks. TED (Technology Entertainment Design) is an invite only conference in California, and they put up all the talks on the website. Even though this is a music blog i have to take the opportunity to share a Dave Eggers talk from TED08.

He won the Ted prize at February’s conference, and got to present one wish to the TED audience. He talks about the amazing 826 Valencia building which combines a tutoring center with the McSweeneys publishing house and a pirate supply store.
